Fountain of Love Offering on Mother’s Day – VIRTUAL OFFERING Option
Please remember that Mother’s Day, May 10, is Fountain of Love Offering emphasis Sunday. Because of the support of the Alabama-West Florida Conference and the North Alabama Conference and their churches, no resident has ever been asked to leave a Methodist Home because of their inability to pay.
As many of our churches may be continuing to convene with virtual services and connections on Mother’s Day, we have created a Virtual Offering page to make sure that the elderly in need do not get left behind during these unprecedented days. To participate in a VIRTUAL OFFERING, distribute this link: https://methodisthomes.org/virtual-fountain-of-love-offering/ to your church members by email, or post the link on your Facebook page, your website, or other social media avenues. Here is the electronic 2020 Bulletin Insert, too!
Last year the Fountain of Love awarded more than $455,000 to elderly residents in need. A large part of this program’s success is because of the churches that faithfully participate in a Fountain of Love Offering. Thank you, in advance, for making the Fountain of Love Offering a priority in your church!
If you prefer to have the physical materials for a Fountain of Love Offering, you may order the FREE materials online at https://methodisthomes.org/offering/. Though our emphasis is typically on Mother’s Day, offerings are welcome throughout the year.
